Tawfik Alwan

Tawfik is an experienced investment banking and corporate finance specialist. He has over 30 years of market experience in strategic advisory, capital markets, private and public transitions.

Previously, Tawfik led the investment banking practice at one of the first firms to be licensed by the Capital Market Authority in Saudi Arabia. He worked on capital transactions in a wide range of sectors, including, technology, insurance transportation,

financial services, manufacturing, and retail. He was an continues to be an advisor to serval blue-chip businesses, NGO's , and government entities in the Middle East and North America.

Tawfik earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Management. He completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Capital Market Examination (CME–1) in Saudi Arabia and a certificate in capital markets from Turkey. Tawfik received training in Innovation Governance & Startup Boards, Entrepreneurship, Sukuk & Islamic Capital Markets, Advanced Financial Modeling, and Change Management. He is a member in a prominent North American Angel investor group, and has an extensive network in both investment and startup ecosystems in several regions.
